Delete your AIPlayerX account

The short version. You can delete your AIPlayerX account and everything attached to it at any time — from the account screen in the app, or from this page if you cannot open the app. It costs nothing, and you do not have to give a reason.

Two things deletion does not do, stated up front because they surprise people: it does not cancel a subscription bought through an app store, and uninstalling the app does not delete the account. Sections 4 and 5 explain both.

1. Delete it in the app

This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately.

  1. Open AIPlayerX and sign in.
  2. Go to the account screen.
  3. Choose Delete account.
  4. Enter your password to confirm.

The password is asked for again on purpose. Being signed in on a device is not proof that you are the owner of the account, and a borrowed or stolen phone should not be able to wipe it in one tap. Repeated wrong entries are throttled the same way as sign-in attempts.

Once confirmed, the account is removed on the spot. There is no waiting period and nothing is held back for review.

2. Ask us from this page

If you cannot open the app — the phone is lost, you have changed devices, or you no longer remember the password — send the request instead and we will carry it out for you. You do not need to install the app to use this route.

We treat the message as a deletion request as soon as it arrives, and complete it within the period required by law. If we cannot establish that the request comes from the account owner — for example, the mailbox is no longer reachable — we will reply and tell you what else would establish it, rather than simply refusing.

3. What is deleted

DataDetail
Account recordYour email address, your username, and your password, which is stored only as a salted hash and is not recoverable in plaintext even before deletion.
Registered devicesEvery device on the account, with the label, platform and last-seen time shown in the device list.
Sign-in sessionsEvery session issued to every device. Signing out elsewhere first is unnecessary — they go with the account.

These are removed together, in one step, and none of them is replaced by a disabled or "frozen" account. The signalling and relay services keep connection state in memory only, so there is no call history, stream history, or viewer list left behind on our side to delete separately.

4. What is kept, and why

Deletion is complete for everything we hold about you as an account. The four items below survive it for reasons that are not ours to override, and each is stated plainly rather than buried in a policy.

WhatWhy it remains
Your subscription and purchase recordsHeld by Google Play or the App Store, not by us. We cannot delete them, and deleting the account does not cancel the subscription — cancel it in the store, as described in our Terms.
A record that the deletion happenedOur server logs the event with an internal account number only: no email address, no username, nothing that points back to a person. It exists so that a deletion can be shown to have taken place.
Measurements sent by the detection librarySent by Google's library directly to Google, carrying no identifier we could look up. That is why we cannot find and delete an individual's reports on request; section 3 of our Privacy Policy describes what those reports contain.
Video, audio and recorded clipsNever uploaded to us in the first place. They stay in the app's storage on the phone that recorded them, and are removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

5. Uninstalling the app is not deletion

Removing AIPlayerX from a phone deletes the clips and detection history stored on that phone, but it leaves the account in place: the account belongs to you, not to the device, so it would still exist if you signed in elsewhere or installed the app again. To remove it, use section 1 or section 2.

The reverse is also worth knowing: deleting the account does not reach into a phone and erase files. Uninstall the app, or clear its data, on any device you are giving away or no longer use.

6. If you change your mind

Deletion cannot be undone. No recovery window and no copy of the account are kept on our side, so there is nothing to restore and a new account has to be created from scratch. If what you actually want is to stop paying, cancel the subscription in the app store and keep the account — live streaming pauses, and the account stays as it is.
